Sourdough Pasta Making and Tasting class

In our new sourdough pasta class we’ll share information about sourdough as a healthy alternative and inspire you to explore introducing the process of fermentation as a means of adding nutrients and neutralising antinutrients when making pasta. Drawing on our knowledge of the range of flours available we’ll provide an insight into which flours work best for sourdough pasta. 

The class will also involve practical elements which will give you the skills to make your own sourdough pasta at home and will include: making a starter, mixing and kneading dough, cutting and shaping the pasta and cooking a small amount in the class. 

The class will also include an opportunity to taste the pasta with a selection of fermented sauces.

You’ll leave with a jar of starter and a ball of dough for making pasta at home.
