Live Online Sourdough (in 2 Parts)

  • 29 May 2024 (5:00 pm) to 5 Jun 2024 (7:30 pm)
  • Zoom

In this online course in two parts, we’ll begin with a short zoom session to start our starters from scratch. A week later we’ll reconvene for an in person course where we’ll make loaves. We’ll learn about the process of sourdough fermentation, the history and culture behind it, the health benefits, and how to approach it from an intuitive and relaxed way, in a way that works for you and your schedule. Whilst making the loaves, we’ll also learn how to maintain and store our starters (including drying it out to make it shelf-stable), learn about the difference between a stiff vs liquid starter, learn about and make sprouted grains, and learn about heritage grains.

A live online course over 2 sessions, with accompanying access to  Facebook group for support.  The first session will run from 5-5:30pm 29 May. The second session will take place from 5-7:30pm on 5 June, if you are unable to take part live in one or both sessions we will be making them available online for catch up.
